The rating service Super Lawyers releases an annual list of Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for each state, based on independent research and evaluation by a peer panel. Attorneys are eligible for the Rising Star designation if they are age 40 or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
Tim Elliott was named as a Super Lawyer for the seventh consecutive year. He was previously recognized as a Rising Star from 2008 to 2011. In 2011, Elliott was also recognized as one of Illinois’ Top 40 Lawyers Under 40. Elliott concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, and he currently serves as an elected member of the DuPage County Board.
Emily Shupe was named as a Rising Star for the sixth consecutive year. Shupe currently serves as outside general counsel to the College of DuPage, and she concentrates her practice on commercial litigation and employment matters.
Scott Pointner was named a Super Lawyer for the first time in 2019. Pointner serves a variety of businesses, associations, landowners, and commercial tenants in the greater Chicago area, with a focus on land use, zoning and litigation.
