Rathje Woodward is honored to participate in the 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Breakfast, an annual community event hosted by the DuPage County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Executive and Advisory Committees. The breakfast will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.
The Unity Breakfast brings together leaders from the legal, business, nonprofit, and civic communities to reflect on the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to reaffirm a shared commitment to unity, service, and opportunity across DuPage County. The event has become a cornerstone gathering that highlights collaboration and collective responsibility in advancing Dr. King’s vision.
The 2026 program will feature Dorothy Counts-Scoggins, a distinguished civil rights leader whose courage and advocacy played a pivotal role during the Civil Rights Movement. In addition, the Advisory Committee will also present the 2026 Open Doors Award to Stephen L. Davis, Chairman and Founder of The Will Group. This recognition honors individuals whose leadership and service have expanded access and opportunity within the community and reflect the principles that guided Dr. King’s work.
Proceeds from the Unity Breakfast support the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Fund, which funds programs and initiatives dedicated to advancing equity, inclusion, and community engagement throughout DuPage County. Rathje Woodward is proud to support this important event and to stand alongside community partners committed to meaningful dialogue, service, and lasting impact.
